Parts of Wappingthorn Manor date back to 1066 and was once home to King Edward The Confessor. In 1920 the Manor House underwent a large extension to the east wing and it was at this time the windows were last worked upon. Adding Hopes and son Bronze opening casements along with diamond leaded lights.

It is now 2019 and time for the south facing leaded lights to be re leaded and repaired for the next 100 years to come.

Steve Sherriff Stained Glass Specialists were delighted to be awarded the contract to undertake the window work at Wappingthorn Manor a real chance for the whole team to use their expertise and knowledge to full effect on this magnificent building.
