Having been in training for months, all his hard work finally paid off as Nathan Sherriff successfully completed the 2013 Jenson Button Trust Triathlon.

Hundreds of triathletes, both professional and amateur, participated in the event in support of the Jenson Button Trust and this year’s chosen charity, Help For Heroes.

Nathan came in a respectable 102nd and beat his previous time by several minutes. Last year’s event had been a struggle for Nathan after a puncture left him carrying his bike across the finish line, so this year was a real success, finishing the race in 53:14.

Participating alongside Nathan was Jenson Button himself who, being a keen triathlete, finished in 17th place.

The total amount raised currently stands at a staggering £29,849 and with a large amount of donations still waiting to be collected this total is expected to almost double.
