Conservation Grade Double Glazing - Latchmoor House, Brockenhurst

The Brief

As Sherriff Stained Glass Specialists specialise in double glazing for listed buildings and metal window frames, the owner of Latchmoor House in Brockenhurst got in touch to enquire as to whether we could provide a heritage double glazing solution. We were briefed to construct 99 conservation grade double glazing units, 60 refurbished, satin black, opening metal window frames and 1 oak wooden window frame to replace their existing damaged frame.

Getting to Work

We removed and refurbished all the opening metal window frames and manufactured 99 of our bespoke conservation grade double glazing units. To ensure we kept the heritage look of his property in the New Forest we used specially sourced, heritage double glazing glass from Poland. We replaced the 1 large oak wooden window frame as it was beyond the point of repair.

The Result

Looking through the pictures of Latchmoor House once all metal casement windows were fitted, you can see how using our conservation grade double glazing units is a great way to achieve amenity while keeping the original look of your listed property.
