Stained Glass Door Panel Repair & Refit to Victorian House in Poole

The Brief

The Teak House was originally designed and built in 1889 and features an array of unique Victorian design features. The property’s windows are stained glass and boast the use of new opals and shades of green. The owner of this stunning Victorian house in Poole contacted our stained glass windows specialists at Sherriff Stained Glass Windows to complete a repair and refit for their front door window.

Getting to Work

The Teak House in Poole was built with the highest level of craftsmanship of the era, with unique stained glass windows reflecting this. Due to wear and tear the stained glass windows on the front door panel of the property needed to be repaired and refitted. Knowing the rich history of this Victorian home, our team were excited to get to work on this stained glass repair and refit project.

We started with the stained glass windows repair, using the latest techniques to clean, fix and strengthen the panels of glass. We then carefully refitted the glass to its original placement, ensuring no risk of damage to the glass or the frame.

The Result

The stained glass windows on the door of this period property have now been restored back to their former elegance. The homeowner couldn’t have been happier with the result and we were delighted to have been able to help them.
