Conservation Grade Double Glazing - Heywood Manor, New Forest

The Brief

Our leaded window specialists at Sherriff Stained Glass Specialists recently took on an exciting project at the exquisite Heywood Manor in the New Forest. We felt very privileged to be able to work on this stunning listed building. Our team were asked to fit brand new conservation grade double glazing and leaded windows into refurbished metal window frames.

Getting to Work

We got to work by measuring the windows to create a mixture of double glazed and leaded units to fit perfectly in the metal window frames.

We also undertook window frame repair, ensuring the metal frames were secure and strong enough to hold the glass units for years to come. Once everything was ready, we fitted the conservation grade double glazing and leaded windows into the frames.

The Result

This beautiful listed building now looks completely transformed with strong, refurbished windows that are ready to last another 100 years.

The double glazing also adds an extra layer of security and insulation. Both our team and the client were very proud of the finished result.
