Leaded Windows & Metal Window Frames for a Thatched Period Cottage in Somerset

The Brief

Steve Sheriff Stained Glass specialises in leaded windows, so when a family moved into their period home in Somerset, they contacted us to manufacture leaded windows with metal window frames for their period cottage.

Getting to Work

Each leaded glass window is handmade in our workshop in Dorset, and we got to work manufacturing 18 new windows for them. To complement these, we were also asked to produce satin black metal casement windows to house the leaded windows.

The Result

Looking through the windows once fitted, you can’t imagine the view from the thatched cottage looking so beautiful before the leaded glass windows. Each leaded window has a lifespan of 100 years, giving our customer the quality their period home needs.
