Refurbished Casements and New Leaded Lights - Dial House, Chilmark

The Brief

‍Sherriff Stained Glass Specialists stained glass specialists recently took on an exciting replacement casement window project together with some brand new leaded glass windows at Dial House, Chilmark. This characterful building required ten refurbished metal opening casements, along with 13 new leaded windows as part of a three phase project.

‍Getting to Work

‍To get started on this project, our team of talented leaded window and stained glass specialists removed the metal casements and old leaded windows. We then took them back to our workshop in Wimborne to begin the ground work. The casement windows were deep cleaned to remove any dust, rust and rotting, before being powder coated with RAL 7040 for a modern finish. We then crafted brand new leaded panels to fit the casements.

Upon arriving back at Dial House in Chilmark, we installed the new leaded glass windows into the metal casements.

‍The Result

‍Now the installation was complete, Dial House has a beautiful new look with secure, strong casements and new leaded windows.
