Stained Glass Window Repair & Triple Glazing - Branksome Dene Road

The Brief

Our stained glass specialists at Sherriff Stained Glass Specialists undertook a stained glass window repair and triple glazing project at a property on Branksome Dene Road, Poole. Stained glass encapsulation with triple glazing is a fantastic way of preserving the beauty of your original stained glass window whilst adding amenity to your home.

Getting to Work

Our team are extremely passionate about crafting and preserving traditional stained glass windows, so we couldn’t wait to get started on this project. We started by removing the original panels and taking them back to our workshop in Wimborne, Dorset. Back at our workshop our team started the stained glass repair process by fixing any cracked or broken pieces of glass, as well as giving the panels a good clean. We also re-leaded the stained glass windows to improve their strength and overall appearance.

Once the stained glass windows had been repaired and re-leaded, we encapsulated the panels inside double glazed units to form triple glazing. This not only adds a durable layer of protection to your stained glass, but it also improves its insulating properties.

Following stained glass window repair and encapsulation, we re-fitted the newly triple glazed units back at the property.

The End Result

This property now has a beautiful, upgraded stained glass feature window and two side door windows. The homeowner loves the new look to their property and is impressed with the added amenity that triple glazing provides.
